Young Rio vowed never to play for Red Devils Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand has revealed that he used to hate the club in his younger days. ESPN just reported at the end of the 1AM Sports Center that Notre Dame has called a press conference on Wednesday regarding the Charlie Weis situation.  Linda Cohn made the announcement right as the 1AM version of Sports Center was signing off and no other comment other than Notre Dame called a press conference.

Reports early Tuesday night were that Charlie Weis was definitely coming back for a 5th season in South Bend in 2009.  So far the University has yet to confirm the reports and instead said they were not aware of any immanent announcement.
