Eco-Friendly Vampire Bat LED Flashlight
http://www.geekalerts.com/ eco-friendly-vampire-bat...
We have seen it in the shape of a rat and as a pig. Now the eco-friendly, batteryless, hand-squeeze LED flashlight is back with a brand new design; the vampire bat. It is cute, brightly coloured, and suitable for children. It's ideal as a night lamp and educational at the same time. Teach children not to use batteries but generate electricity by themselves. As well as normal flashlight operation, the Bat can stand in an upright position, in order to act as a nightlight. The Bat Torch is available from the Ethical Superstore for £4.99 (about $9 USD). VAMPIRE BAT...HMMM
http://dynastyoflao.squarespace.com/journal/2008/9/12/vampir...This...adorable...little contraption is an Eco-friendly LED Vampire Bat flashlight (found at GEEKALERTS). The best part of this light source is that it doesn't require batteries, it has a "wind up" renewable energy. Although, I can't help but wonder if the person who designed this has ever seen a real vampire bat or if they just got creative and created a penguin/rudolph the red nosed reindeer hybrid.

The eco-friendly batlight
http://debgeisler.livejournal.com/1090329.htmlJust for [IMG [info]]batwrangler, of course. Squeeze-y, cute, sans battery. All for only £4.99 from the Ethical Superstore. Via Geek Alerts. I'd get one for [IMG [info]]batwrangler, but I already got her Christmas present in New Mexico. :-) But wait! There's always a birthday!
